I want to download something from rapidshare but wana know if you have a virus on the file. How can I check?

I suggest NOD32. Other good virus scanner, but NOD32 is the fastest. Other virus slows down the PC (much).

The problem is ... Often, there are new viruses that are not yet proven. So ... To be sure: after the download: wait at least a week and then analyze before opening the file! After a week there is little chance of finding virus not yet upgraded to a week old virus. It is a technique little known, but it works like a charm.
Of course, you need to enable the automatic updates, virus scanner! And of course, the same virus scanner must be frequently renewed. But above all, must you pay for another year. If you have forgotten to pay, then disable virus itself or it will not download the latest antivirus database (most recent database virus scanners are useless).
